Pallas, Juno, Iris, Hygiea, Eugenia, Sylvia, Elektra, Kleopatra, Interamnia - have contacted the Pierre Vernazza (PI for the programme) regarding licenses of the shape models
Arrokoth - source data is CC0, @SevenSpheres / @pedro-fixingstuff do you want to keep the cmod file under CC0 also?
I personally don't claim any credit for the models mentioned here, as all I did was converting them from other sources. This includes Arrokoth, of which (at least up to me) I agree to keep it under CC0.

These are probably under CC-BY; from @pedro-fixingstuff in 2021:
The models from earlier versions of this repository are also available on DAMIT, the latter of which licenses its content under CC BY 4.0 (https://astro.troja.mff.cuni.cz/projects/damit/pages/about_damit). The associated paper for the current batch of models is under the same license (https://www.aanda.org/articles/aa/full_html/2021/10/aa41781-21/aa41781-21.html).

I don't claim copyright if I just converted an existing model to cmod.

Models from prof. Scott Hudson should be placed under JPL-image license. Here it is the text of an old email between a Fedora user that reached prof. Scott Hudson and clarified licensing issues.
BTW, it seems updated models are available at https://sbn.psi.edu/pds/resource/rshape.html

These are the same models as the ones we currently have, and as Hudson has said in his reply, they're also available on a NASA site.
