Show atmospheres for non-spherical stars

Open LukeCEL opened this issue 4 years ago • 0 comments

If a star isn't spherical (i.e. it has a model), then no atmosphere is shown for the star.

Here is an image for demonstration purposes. On the left is a normal star - you can turn on/off the atmosphere. On the right is W UMa from Andrew Tribick's W UMa binaries add-on (click to download). It does not show an atmosphere, even when "Atmospheres" is turned on. star

Potentially the CMOD/CMS model could be used to draw an atmosphere around the star. However, this is a minor detail and can probably be put off for later.
