Binary system lighting issue [1.7.0]
Not sure if this issue has already been fixed, but this occurs in the Feb 2022 build of 1.7.0 posted in the forum: https://celestia.space/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=21805
In a Sun-orbiting binary system where the barycenter is situated inside one component (component's semimajor axis from the barycenter is smaller than its own radius), the lighting on that component is rendered incorrectly; the component appears to be reflecting light from the barycenter instead of the Sun. This issue happens regardless if you define the barycenter as a "ReferencePoint" or an "asteroid", "planet", or "dwarfplanet" with an albedo of 0. One object reflects the Sun light and so lightens another one. But of course implementation of this is not realistic.
