Saving is confusing (no feedback + can take several seconds)

I realize there are two UI styles: edits are live and there's nothing to save, and the save/cancel choice and that you chose the latter. I'm not complaining about that.

When I first added a card I just hit back and got the confirmation dialog, only then grasping that this uses the save/cancel dialog, and then notice the floppy icon (and I even used 8" floppies, so it's not that I don't get that). When I pushed it, it didn't change, and it was not possible to tell if I was in a modified or not (emacs * in modeline for modified buffer) state.

My suggestion is to make the save icon much louder when there is something to save. I could see very subtle gray changing to bright blue, but the big things are 1) make it loud when modified and 2) have it clearly flip back when saved. Not a big deal of course; I'm trained now.
