[Feature request] Editing of a Front/rear picture after saving it

Open Homer-Sim opened this issue 7 months ago • 2 comments

Hello, I took a picture and adjusted the rotating etc. But when I saved it i recognized it was not 100% well done. I found no possibility to reedit the image except deleting and taking a new one.

Hi! I’d like to contribute to this feature.

Currently, there’s no way to edit a front/rear picture after it’s saved — only to delete and retake it.

I’m thinking of adding an “Edit” button near the saved image that allows users to re-open the image editor and rotate or replace the picture.

Let me know if this approach makes sense, and I’d be happy to start working on it.

I think it might be best to add the new option to the existing on tap menu, to prevent confusion when people press the edit button as to why they cant choose a new image/remove it (I've seen many times that adding a button makes users forget about the other interactables). Not completely sure what the best text would be though. Maybe "Edit image" is clear enough, maybe not. Suggestions welcome.

(Might also make sense to change the order so it's in a more logical new picture -> edit picture -> remove picture order)

I otherwise agree with your approach :)
