There have been 4 newer Minecraft server versions available as of now, with one more expected within the next couple months. All of these versions contain multiple bug fixes and patches for exploitable vulnerabilities, alongside several new gameplay features that are not implemented or supported by PinecraftOS, dating back to almost 6 months ago.

Could add instructions on what is required to update paper to newest version. Can I just replace paperxxx.jar & change up a script to start it on boot?

I’m using the vanilla server. I just downloaded the latest JAR from https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/download/server (choose your language version if needed) and replaced the file in /minecraft/. So far, it seems to work — my old world was updated without any issues, and no errors appeared in the client. I’ll keep testing it further.
