Compatibility issue with the "Page Optimizer" plugin

The new "Castos" (HTML5) audio player breaks with the "Page Optimize" plugin active. The plugin is installed by default on all WP.com sites, so it's pretty important to resolve.

This happens on any type of environment/theme, so to reproduce -

  • Install SSP
  • Install "Page Optimize"
  • Change the default player to the new HTML5 player
