Add an option to pick another \alert color

Some people like to have another \alert color than the theme color...

Can't we add a section to the documentation on how to do that? Adding an option just for this seems overkill. Also, this is not really according to 'theme standards', as far as we have those, so another reason to not put it in the theme directly?
