Netflix Crash if I try to watch a certain episode.
Steps to reproduce the behavior
- click on a specific Episode to start it.
- Netflix Series/Maid/
- Click the last episode
- Every other Netflix episode of any Series or Movie works

The logs mention a Stacktrace on /storage/.cache/cores/core.!usr!lib!kodi!kodi.bin.1759139782.1515 But I could not find this file.

For me its the first Episode of "black rabbit", all others work. It happened a Fee das ago on another series too, but cant remeber what it was.
Maybe someone else can verify.
@Mannshoch Maid is completely broken for me. No Episode works

I am on libreelec on pi5
I cannot confirm. Using also libreelec on a rpi5 I can stream the last episode of maid.
But as mentioned in issue 1763 the first two minutes are limited to lowest quality. This has something to do with codec vp9 isnt available for some series/episodes, as it was a workaround for issue 1733.
A workaound is, take a new SD card and install libreELEC 11. This is done in 5 minutes. LibreELEC 12 or Kodi 21 can't handle H264.

I have also the problem (mentioned in #1733) that on some series I could not watch the first 3 minutes causse they are black. I found out that it works if I watch these with AV1 on lowest quality. (higher quality create a green video with a strange aspect ratio

But why can't H.264 be decoded in Software as mentioned in the changelogs on LE?
@sc44 If you say there is an error for LibreElec, ist there an Issue for that ? I could not find it on LibreElec git.
Not as error, hardware decoding of H.264 was removed to support higher resolutions because of the powerful CPU in pi5. But seems not to work on some episodes...
Same issue here.
New or recently added episodes don’t work. For example, Billionaires' Bunker episodes 1 to 3 work correctly, but starting from episode 4 it crashes or the screen stays black while the audio works. The same happens with The Rookie season 2 or Alice in Borderland season 3

Could this be related to Widevine CDM?
Workaround is: Activate AV1, watch first 2 Minutes with lowest stream quality, stop and deactivate AV1, continue with movie with highest quality H.264
If that is a proper workaround. Is it possible to do it automatically and get this into the netflix app @CastagnaIT
The workaround works with one exception: after 2 minutes with AV1, you can’t move the pointer back to the beginning because the same issue happens again. At second 10 there’s no problem (I haven’t tested it in depth), but it’s an inconvenient procedure
no, you can't move back, you have to stop at 2min+ and then change Codec and start again...
I had this case with h264 only. the first 2min i had to use h264 on lowest qualit and after that I could switch to higher h264 quality.

im not sure about the reason of the crash but i suggest you to update to last inputstream adaptive addon versions ISA 21.5.17 (kodi 21) and ISA 22.3.2 (kodi 22)
