Expected behaviour

Make a good MXF recording with CasparCG 2.3

Current behaviour

When I try to record a MXF file with CasparCG 2.3 the result is a clip with sped-up and crackling audio

Steps to reproduce

1.setup a channel in 1080i5000 2. play a HD file 3. record a file with these settings ADD 1 FILE "Test 422.mxf" -b:v 50000000 -codec:a pcm_s24le -codec:v mpeg2video -filter:v format=yuv422p,tinterlace=4 -alternate_scan:v 1 -g:v 12 -bf:v 2 -minrate:v 50000k -maxrate:v 50000k -color_primaries:v bt709 -color_trc:v 1 -colorspace:v 1

Environment

  • Server version: v2.3
  • Operating system:Windows 10

result a video clip which plays the first few seconds ok and then starts to play sped-up and with crackling audio.

We are experiencing the same problem with 2.3.0 lts. ADD 1 FILE, ADD 1 STREAM both produce the same result, crackling sped-up audio playback within a couple seconds. Have tried many combinations of file formats, different output codecs, re-encoding, different resolutions, audio filters, with and without a decklink consumer attached, nothing seems to help.

Personally not seeing an issue with video playback, if there isn't audio everything seems to look fine.
