Remaining time not shown for some clips
When playing a video file, the remaining time is not shown correctly for some (random) clips. Instead of counting down, the timestamp resets to 00:00:00:00, the green bar jumps to full, empties fast and stays there for the rest of the clip duration. Happens with different file formats although it is not dependend on a special format. Me and other forum users tried: MPEG2, m2ts and DNxHD footage. (see: http://casparcg.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3514)
If my explanation is to cryptic I can provide a screenshot later.
Which version of the client and server? Can you provide some sample clips?
sure, sample clips come later. Problem occurs with client v 2.07 and 2.08, server v 2.07
so here we go: File "01_Intro_Spezial.mpg" is not working File "02_Themenueberblick.mpg" is working

The server (ffmpeg) can not detect the total number of frames in the file and sends garbage to the client. The 2.1 branch, of the server, has a much newer version of ffmpeg so the issue is not there. I need to investigate a little more but i'm not sure there is a way to fix it for the 2.0.7 other than encode your file with different settings and see if it helps.
Crap! We do have the issue in 2.1.
So, is there something we can do about it?
Bumping this issue because we also encounter this specific issue. We edit on Lightworks and were not able to pinpoint the culprit. I'm guessing it has something to do with certain encoding?
