No Display in Linux Client in Previewing + Live sections

Open zenny opened this issue 10 years ago • 5 comments

Hi,

When one loads a file to the client, it neither displays in Preview window nor Live window, however, the clip gets displayed in the Server's video window.

Tack!

You can load clips in two ways:

  1. Playout->Load (F3) WITHOUT "Freeze on load" setting checked. The clip will load in the background on CasparCG. You will not see anything until you play it (F2).

  2. Playout->Load (F3) WITH "Freeze on load" setting checked. The clip will load on CasparCG and the first frame will be displayed.

I have verifyed that it works on the latest stable Linux client.

neither displays in Preview window

The preview window have nothing to do with loaded clips. It is a thumbnail preview of the clip.

nor Live window

You need to connect the live window to a CasparCG channel to be able to see something.

the clip gets displayed in the Server's video window.

This is strange. What client / server version?

Right now, I am on server v5fb74.. and the client version is same as earlier.

Let me try with the latest versions if it has changed.
