use positron style in self hosted osm

I wonder if it's possible to use the positron style (I guess the mapnik.xml aka project.xml) for self osm hosted in docker like in this repo https://github.com/Overv/openstreetmap-tile-server/blob/master/Dockerfile.

I try to replace the mapnik.xml with the project.xml without any success
