nintendo online services on donor prodinfo
I have done the test and use a healthy and unbaned prodinfo in a banned one (i know risk) so i generate a prodinfo from donnor It seems that it starts well and the prodinfo is accepted but the online services like updates and shop do not apaear to work since it gives the same error as when you put incognto
writing the donnor prodinfo and using the method of changing the device id with exosphere modded binary, make console to connect online but not with the generated from the donnor
I leave this as observation and feedback

It's probably because writing over part of the device certificate corrupts it and makes it not pass the server checks.
I will update the README accordingly.
The exosphere mod trick works because the certificate is left untouched.
My switch also banned for internet, So can you please update to support generate from a "donor" unbaned prodinfo.bin to make my switch unbaned again?

I have a unbanned prodinfo.bin dumped from a GOOD console which is PHYSICAL DAMAGED and CAN'T BE RECOVERED. And a banned console.
Your great job give me a chance to save the banned one.
Hope you can get through it. I DO know and take the risk myself.

sure there is a risk, but maybe not, It has to be tested, I have a non-banned prod so I offer myself as a tester

The thing is, I'm not concerned about people getting banned, but about people getting other people banned. Send me (at [email protected]) a picture containing the donor Switch barcode and a piece of paper with 'prodinfo_gen' written on it, and I will send you a custom payload that will import the SSL certificate for that specific console.
The barcode is in the prodinfo in hex The serial and the device id

I know this is a bit off topic and very late but since this is prodinfo swapping related i might aswell drop in something ive done. So basically I sacrificed a clean prodinfo to transfer save data on a banned switch to a clean one The procedure: 3 switches or 2 if you have a clean prodinfo laying around
- Rip out a clean prodinfo (requires a 3rd switch or a donor from someone).
- Replace your banned prodinfo with the clean on on the banned switch
- Now this has a 55/45 chance to work and has a time limit so do it quick!
- Boot both switches one un banned and one banned hurry time is ticking
- Quickly go to settings and data transfer (this would be your first nintendo connection i think so say bye bye to that clean prodinfo from the banned switch)
- While its transferring data a few things might happen; one the connection will be severed and well prodinfo wasted; 2 once transfer done you might get an error after cuz nintendo just banned your donor prodinfo but yay all data succesfully transfered - this happned to me) Ok once your data is all transfered sooner or later your clean prod info will get hunted by nintendo but boom online access with your precious save data.
- Your clean switch wont get banned, its been 2 years now for me and still fine. I tested it again today and yeah nintendo was fast on the ban when i started transferring data I hope this helps any one who finds this burried in thier google search desperately wanting to keep thier save data without having to replace the motherboard or mod another switch. Reddit i dont have so yeah bye!

- When you say "replace your banned prodinfo" do you mean using deviceid-exosphere-builder?
- Why did Nintendo ban you? Were there cracked games on the console?
- I got the clean prodinfo from my brother v1 switch he doesn use anymore, he gave me permision to do whatever with it.
- Yes i used exosphere
- silly story when i was 14 i accidentaly went online in emunand, there were no cracked games just tin foil but it was usless because i didnt feel the need to pirate nor did i know how to even use it so it was just sitting there.
- i decided to try save swaping from switch to switch using this very incconvient method again, but back then i was to broke for switch online. Also i just bought a bunch of unbanned v1 switches no joycons or dock so it was pretty cheap.
