Server lag caused when retrying large .mdl

Everything is in the title, when the server fails to get the content from the new model thing, its gonna retry fetching it and if the content is large it causes a huge amount of lag on the server until the person clear their pac or that the server finally crashes. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/363377966815772672/538743059718864909/unknown.png

Definitely not like it used to but partially still sometimes, it's hard to describe as I don't have an examples ready atm
