Description

During recording, it uses all my machine's resources, and the video look very patchy and laggy.

Reproduction

Record on Mac OS

Additional Context

  • Cap version: 0.3.67
  • Operating system, version: Mac OS 15.6
  • Device (optional):

I don't have any so.cap log folder.

@labrute974 can you provide some details as to what your recording setup is (whole window, app, etc.) as well as any configuration details of the devices you're using for video and audio? Any details on how to replicate?

I do not see a spike in resources when running on an Apple M4 Max OS 15

Thanks for the response @bradenkeith

Here is a screenshot just before starting recording: Image

And here's the recorded video with Activity Monitor opened: https://youtu.be/BPboezlJcEo

That started when I upgraded to the latest (0.3.67). I'm using the Mac Microphone, and the Mac built-in camera, and doing full screen record.

All I'm doing is starting the recording. Note that I tried to delete all the cap.so Support files as well, and it hasn't made a difference.
