My camera is not recorded
Hey, I just tried the tool, however it simply does not record my webcam. I use a LINK 2 and try to use the virtual cam. It is shown during recording, but later I have a video without showing my cam at all.
What am I doing wrong? Is it because of the virtual cam? If I try to change to the actual cam, it always says "Camera time out."
It is a pitty because it could be a useful tool.

@ExiMentor I'm experiencing similar issues with audio. I see waveforms in the preview screen and underneath the mic icon when recording, but it uploads with just a buzzing sound. (Ex: https://cap.romegadigital.com/s/yatwkxwbfneaawa)
I also am experiencing issues with my iPhone camera not showing as an available camera (though it's available for other apps). I have to send it through OBS as a virtual camera and then choose that as my source in Cap. Might be worth trying that to see if it helps at all.
Continuity camera mentioned above is resolved in 845040b. Tested successfully with a local build.
May help with your issue as well @ExiMentor if you're on MacOS 14.
Thanks for helping. I tried OBS and if I select it as source I get an error "invalid format". I'm using windows. Anyway, I think I will give up trying this software, sorry.
@ExiMentor Which version of Cap are you using? and are you on Windows or macOS? Would appreciate any details you can give so we can try replicate.
I downloaded the latest version from the website and I'm on Windows. I'm using a Link2 webcam and I also tried OBS. Link uses a virtual cam as well as the actual cam. I tried the virtual first and switching to another was not working.
