That was quick, newest update from 17Jan2024 solves both problems (reverting when pinning & the right-click pop-up)!

Same here, Pop!_OS 20.10, no relevant info in the logs as far as I can see.

Very good idea for enhancement. Creates a much better overview without losing any of the organisation.
