block and line cursor

In vim, as well as in my shell, I'm used to having a line cursor on insert mode and a block cursor on normal mode. It seems that broot only uses a block cursor when typing, which feels a bit confusing every now and then. Would there be an option to change it to a line cursor by any chance?
