Middle-click doesn't work on reader mode pages

I press "Reader View" icon for clutter-free web page. I select a text, I press middle-click but it doesn't work.

I confirm that this happens to me as well, but it's not specific to the middle click option. The Auto option and the keyboard shortcut don't work either, so it's a general problem (the context menu works as normal).

I'm not aware how Firefox implements the reader view, so I'll have to look into this when possible. (Meanwhile, about issue #110, version 3.32.1 is in the review queue since yesterday but it will probably take a while due to the new review process).

Just adding a note that this cannot be solved until Firefox changes a few things. I've reported the problem but it had already been reported. The issue is tracked here (from 3 years ago): https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1371786
