Extension not compatible with 131.0.1

Thunderbird will disable the extension and downgrading is not possible (to 128esr) as Thunderbird will complain that "profile has been updated by a later version and a new profile must be created".

Edit the method for downgrading by deleting compatibility.ini and starting thunderbird with --allow-downgrade parameter works okay, I reinstalled the extension for good measure. This issue can be closed in favour of #71 if needed
