Updating to mako git fixed this issue for me. Anyone else try that?
@emersion three users (including me) can reproduce this with the released version of mako, but not the git tip. I would recommend cutting a release.

/memfd deleted files are pretty typical to expect. rkhunter should be ignoring those, and likely many of these: https://github.com/leahneukirchen/xtools/blob/master/xcheckrestart#L9-L18
whatever. /memfd files are not real files and they are completely normal. they never exist. glib might be doing something weird (redshift links to it usually).

This is a common pitfall of AppArmor profiles and LSM policy in general. There are standard variables in `/etc/apparmor.d/tunables`, but none seem to apply to this situation.
