Not getting output as matching CameraView bounds

Not getting output as matching CameraView bounds. I need the output as preview shows; would please help me?

I'm setting cameraview aspect ratio 1:1 in constraint layout; and my cameraview is square; I need the square output what is shown in preview.

Seeing the same thing here. Preview frame width/size don't seem to have an effect on the output size. I don't have a workaround quite yet, but will update when I do.
