Weird output when trying to see the value of a variable

Hello, everytime i want to see the value of a variable by putting it in a new line whiteout a semicolon i get something like this

The same happens with disp() and display() . By the way octave-cli does give the correct output

The version of metakernel is 0.29.2 and 0.34.2 for octave-kernel. I'm using jupyter lab

That is the same issue as #215, i.e., that is from bracketed paste charcters.
