App wont install

Hello, I make wallpapers in the apde for fun. Sometime ago I installed one in my phone and also exported it and shared it with some friends without any problems. Today another friend asked for the wallpaper, so I sent it and he could not install the apk. So then I tried to install it myself and surprise surprise it didnt work as well. I also tried all the other wallpapers I had, tried re-exporting it as well, and no one can be installed anymore. Is it an Android update issue? Whats going on?

What do you mean specifically when you say that the installation doesn't work? What kind of error message do you receive?

Are you able to install regular apps, just not wallpapers? Are you able to install other live wallpapers from Google Play?

It is possible that this is caused by an Android update. What version of Android do you and your friend have? Personally I have no issues installing wallpapers on Android 9.

Hi, I'm on Android 10 and cannot install the exported APK : "there was a problem while parsing the package". Didn't found any other information. Anyway, APDE is great and works nicely :)
