The editor displays ghosted fonts in a Note 8 with 4.4.2.

P. S. : I just found that if I disable syntax highlight the problem disappears ;)

@angellinares: I had thought that this issue was resolved a long time ago. The fact that only some of the keywords are offset is confusing.

By any chance, did you originally create this file with a different editor (on a desktop, perhaps)? My hunch is that the indentation at the beginning of the problematic lines is something funky, like a tab, instead of two spaces.

Does this problem show up anywhere else? Did this start appearing in any particular version of APDE (the syntax highlighter hasn't changed much for several releases, now...)?

Also, I find it strange that the tab bar doesn't appear in your screenshots. Is this an off-chance glitch (known, unresolved bug), or has it never been present? If you don't know what I'm talking about, then the latter is likely the case. The tab bar can be seen in the screenshots on Google Play. This may be another bug.

Old thread, I know, but I have same bug on Hudl2 running 5.1 lollipop although only happens when I edit text that is already there.

@Phyrik This mostly happens to me when I copy/ past text from the forum or elswhere. Sometimes the code does not even run because of some invisible character. To prevent this I take the text firstly to "this" edit box on github, paste it and then copy it again. In some way this will "clean" the text and also will format it properly. (It will not be pasted as one single line that you need to format and rearange the comments)
