The overflow menu with selected text does not work.

I have noticed this on early versions as well, but not beeing that important I didn't make an issue of it. But just to report; on my KitKat the overflow menu pops up but none of the items like comment/ uncomment increase indent etc. will work. On my Lollipop 5.1 phone the menu pops up but closes again within a second.
