After experimenting a bit with versions of smali / baksmali I noticed that 2.1.3 version seems to resolve the issue https://github.com/CalebFenton/dex-oracle/issues/27

... but I was immediately hit with another one:

remote object '/data/local/tmp/od-output.json' does not exist /usr/lib/ruby/2.3.0/json/common.rb:156:in 'initialize': A JSON text must at least contain two octets! (JSON:ParserError)

I got those problem too while I was trying to dex-oracle something.and I thought the reason is because: After Android 5(lollipop),google has update Dalvik to Art(Android run time).while dex-oracle was still based on Dalvik,I thought here was the problem. I don't have phone with Android 4.4 any more,I can't tell if I am right.
