When smooth scroll option is enabled, the mouse scroll is not working so i have to turn it of to use my mouse scroll.

This bug, deactivates the scrolling if it is enabled.

+1 It appears that once I deactivate that feature, the scrolling becomes smoother.

Same for me: after upgrading to MacOS 26, the "Smooth Scrolling" flag actually makes the scroll stutter

Same Problem here. Since MacOs 26.0.1 scrolling is not working at all if smooth scroll is enabled.

Can confirm this problem even in MacOS Sequoia 15.6.1. When the smooth scroll is enabled, the scrolling doesn't work at all. Disabling the smooth scroll makes the scrolling functional again, but it's not smooth.

I have encountered this issue too, regardless of the browser within Tahoe 26.0.1 (it was fine in 26.0).

I have found that there is a fix, although it might be temporary until a reboot occurs... and mileage may be different for others, but the below works for me:

  • Turn off smooth scrolling within the app.
  • Close the app.
  • Reopen the app.
  • Turn on smooth scrolling.
  • Smooth scrolling then should work (it does for me).

These steps work to get smooth scrolling working again in macOS Sequoia 15.7.1. Thanks!
