Not working at all... :/

Open alltiagocom opened this issue 2 years ago • 4 comments

I just downloaded the app, but I can't make it work. I'm on Catalina 10.15.7 I tried both reverse checked and unchecked. Tried both options as well while checking and unchecking the System Preferences that changes the scroll, no luck. I have a magic mouse, wireless.

Can someone help me with this? This is exactly the app I needed to apply reverse to certain apps, not globally. Thanks!

Hi @iamdannywyatt,

I missed the part where you mentioned you are using a Magic Mouse. I suspect that hooking into events from Apple's Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad is off-limits to developers. Mac Mouse Fix has a similar issue.

I did some searching through the issues and came across this quote from the Mos developer (translated):

External TrackPad, Magic Mouse and built-in TrackPad will not be processed. Mos only takes effect for ordinary mice. If you need to modify the scrolling of such devices, use the built-in setting options of the system.

Oh that's why then. Thank you for translating that. I already use the macOS default scrolling settings, but that one doesn't allow different settings per application. Appreciate the help!
