In a Citrix / RDP / VNC it scrolls way too fast

Open freebrowser1 opened this issue 3 years ago • 1 comments

Describe the bug | 问题描述 When using a Citrix, RDP or VNC session, the scrolling is very fast, each step with the scroll wheel takes at least 6 lines and that value cannot be lowered. Lowering speed or duration does not help either.

On macOS itself or even in a Virtualbox VM, scrolling works at normal speed.

In perferences, the step size cannot be set below 10, which is probably the cause of this issue.

To Reproduce | 如何重现 Set the step size as low as possible (10, cannot lower). Go to an RDP or VNC or Citriix session. Scroll in any scrollable page. It scrolls very fast. Disabling MOS lets the mouse work normally in such sessions and on macOS itself.

Expected behavior | 期望结果 Step size must be able to be set on a value lower than 10 to anable normal scroll speed in such sessions.

  • Browser : any, but on macOS itself the problem does not occur.

Thanks your feedback @freebrowser1 Because the scrolling behavior in VM or VNC are different from native scroll view, it base on the client implement, so in some situation it seems ... wired I suggest using the Exception panel to adjust the specific app, or just disable the scroll function in it
