I haven't seen the authors answering any of the questions, is this library dead? Is there any other alternative for react-native?

Well, I'll assume this lib is definetely dead. Right now at the end of 2024 I'm trying to use it but I notice it ran into issues using the useRef hook.

I'd be glad if someone could provide some alternatives.
