No file sodium-mixins.properties appears to exist anymore, this issue can probably be closed.

It might only exist post complation however so we should verify if the mixin is still referenced in the latest logs

No such file exists in the compiled jar either as far as I can tell. Mixins are enumerated in a json file that doesn't even allow for comments.

If that is the case then you are probably correct however this is not my area of expertise so I will refrain from taking any sides further
