Cannot Get Disc to Read

Hello,

I burned the ISOs files onto two DVD-Rs, both of them will not work. I have tried to run a normal DVD (ran perfectly fine) then run the DVD w/ the ISO files and that did not work. I ensured the discs I used were cleaned before testing. My console is model SCPH-700001. I am running out of ideas and have a bunch of PS2 japanese games I would really love to play.

Someone please help me.

I assume the discs you tried are all transparent discs and do not have a thick paper label on them? I have tried numerious DVD-types and found that like 95% of the games burned on an inkjet printable DVD-R with a thick paper label always work but the games burned on transparent regular DVD-R:s never work. I dunno why that is. Probably has something to do with how the laser bounces around differently when reading or something because the label blocks it. Cant guarantee this will help you but worth a shot I guess.
