Unable to read disk after a sucessfull first time

Hi.

Sometime ago i've modded my ps2 with OPL Manager, FreeDVDBoot 3.11E and FreeMcBoot. All good

A few days ago, after a 2/3 month period(or more) without turning on the ps2, i've turned on my ps2 and FreeMcBoot didn't load. So i deleted all the content from the memory card with the purpose to install it all again on my memory card. Now when i plug my FreeDVDBoot 3.11E disc onto ps2, i get the "unable to read disc" error (burned at the slowest speed possible - i have burned the first time at 4x and managed to get to mod the ps2 - now i have burned at 1x speed, so i have 2 burned disks at the slowest speed possible). Both disks are not read and give the error.

The laser is good, i have some physical games that i tried, and they work just fine.

Is there anything that i can do? I've tried to insert a working dvd movie to recalibrate the laser, and i've also cleaned the laser and keep me getting the error...

Did you clean the laser with isopropyl alcohol ? If that does not work you could try adjusting the potentiometers .
