Phat PS2 - 2.12U Custom Disks

Is there still no information anywhere on how to make custom 2.12U disks? The prebuilt ISO works perfectly, but if I add anything at all to that, then the PS2 tells me "TV System Doesn't Match". If I use the FDVDB ESR Gui and grab the VIDEO_TS and VTS_01_0 from the 2.12 ISO, then patch a game's ISO using those as the payload then the PS2 also gives the "TV System Doesn't Match" error.

This is a bit of an issue, because I don't have a spare USB drive on hand that I can use, and I'm having trouble FTPing into the PS2 HDD.

i would like to know also as i have used the payloads in the gui patcher and that dont work
