How to scan debit cards and card name ?

Open takzee opened this issue 8 years ago • 2 comments

Hello,

It was advertised that this branch of cardIO could scan debit card and card holder name but it couldn't. There is the obvious fps flashing on the screen indicating I'm using the enhanced version of cardIO view controller but it nothing happens if I'm not scanning embossed cards.

Is there any setting that I should do before using it ? Or is there some functions that I should enable ?

Thanks for reply.

Our code has never tested debit cards. If their format is very similar to one of the credit cards we designed for, both the number and name will be captured. If they are not similar, our neural recognition engine will not know where to look for the name and may not recognize the printed font.

If you send me a sample of your debit cards, I will provide you with a proposal for us to train our code to recognize them.
