Camera Preview pane not visible on some devices

The Camera Preview pane is supposed to appear after Browser asks for permission to access the Camera.

But, on some browsers/devices the camera does not ask for permission and everything silently fails, and the camera pane is not visible.

Rest of the UI keeps working as usual.
