New Jersey total PCR tests definition altered, upcoming spike in total test results

Hello all,

Due to a change in the definition used by New Jersey to calculate "Total PCR Tests Reported", we anticipate a spike in the metric Total_test_results in the US daily reports in this evening's product. The wording of the announcement on the New Jersey COVID-19 dashboard (Cases and Trends tab) is:

Beginning on 6/13/2022, Statewide Total PCR Tests Reported reflect all PCR tests for a given COVID case whereas prior to 6/13/2022, the first PCR test for a given COVID case was reported while subsequent tests were not.
