Discrepancy in the data of Germany.

For Germany, As per the JHU, daily cases count on the dates Feb 24th 2022 and Feb 25th 2022 were 1,48,486 and 1,22,082, and daily death cases were 135 and 140. Whereas on other sources: On the 24th March: WHO, New daily cases = 318387, daily death cases = 300 Worldometer, New daily cases = 305592, daily death cases = 261. On the 25th March: WHO, New daily cases = 296498, daily death cases 288 Worldometer, New daily cases = 276746, daily death cases = 300.

Similarly, from 21st to 23rd March data is not matching with other sources. Please look into this as it seems the data in the JHU is incorrect.

Also for Saxony(Germany) new case count is 8174 on 28th March which can be verified from these sources:OW, Robert Koch Institute

But in JHU feed the new case count is zero on 28th March 2022.

Thanks :)

One more information on this issue. I'm using the data once a month. Today I encountered that the hole German historical values seems to be lower now.

Starting on 2/25/20 the value used to be 17. With the newest refresh this month the German value is now 16.

I couldn't find any hint in the errata.csv. Thank you for clarifying the reason for lower values in historical data for Germany.

Is there any root cause to explain, why all german data were updated?

Hello! I'm not sure if this is the same problem, but it looks like the data in Germany continues to be very variable.

The data does not match the official dashboard from the Robert Koch Institut, the official German government public health institute.

In the JHU source list, it looks like the Berliner Morgenpost Covid dashboard is listed as the source instead. The Berliner Morgenpost dashboard is broken when I look at the site, and they are also not an official government source. Is this perhaps the source of the issues?
