Is there anywhere to obtain the dataset anymore?

It seems to have been taken down.

I'm also interested in using the dataset. Is there any information on when it would be available again?

Hi all, We also started seeing some failures in torchvision as we allow our users to download the Places365. Looks like the dataset is currently marked as "Under Maintanance". If you have any idea how long that may take we'd love to know, as this would help us decide the best course of action for torchvision. We'll happily update the links once it's more stable. Thank you!

As of 13 Jan, 2023 (pytorch/vision#7071) the site seems to be back to normal.

Is there any change needed to use it? (like updating pytorch, or switching to another branch?) or should it work regardless of the used version?

From torchvision perspective there is no change needed. The old links work were fully re-instated so older versions of torchvision should work as well.

@pmeier Can you check if the site is working now? Links like http://places2.csail.mit.edu/models_places365/alexnet_places365.caffemodel or http://data.csail.mit.edu/places/places365/places365standard_easyformat.tar are all not working for me. Would appreciate any assistance :)
