On macOS use console.app and search for `installd` to debug what's causing to fail to install, because it works just fine for me. It shouldn't matter if it worked "before"...
Run `palera1n --version`, and is this a clean install?
Also, make sure you create a fakefs as the error there implies, you will need one.
@NotYuzuki sorry about that, documentation is outdated. for your version you will need a fakefs to be created no matter what.
