Not a Mercurial user myself, but this doesn't look like it would be too hard.

Especially if hg diff -g see here really does produce a Git-style diff, then parsing should be a doddle - the code is already there...

Unlikely to have the time for a couple of weeks - I'll assign to me if I start working on it. Otherwise anyone's welcome to provide a PR - comment here if you do plan to look at adding Mercurial support.
