Use Case Title Add a new element labeled Financial Award Status
Use Case Description Proposed Definition: An indication of whether the financial award being reported has been awarded, obligated, expended, or in a no cost extension. Option set: (a) Awarded, (b) Obligated, (c) Expended, (d) No Cost Extension
Use Case Background The US ED's Office of Acquisition, Grants and Risk Management, Grants Management Policy Division is developing a Single Use Annual Performance Report that pulls together elements from various APRs. The goal is to make it easier for those submitting APRs. As part of this work, we compared CEDS and the Federal Integrated Business Framework Grant Management Standards. You can find their standards at https://ussm.gsa.gov/fibf-gm/. The Single Use APR requires an indication of the federal award status. The element proposed here is taken from instructions proposed along with the Single Use APR.
