Use Case Description The existing option set for this element (https://ceds.ed.gov/CEDSElementDetails.aspx?TermxTopicId=59133) should be updated as follows:

Description: 3 through 5 (not in kindergarten) Definition: The age range of special education students taught is 3 through 5 (not in kindergarten) Code: 3TO5NOTK

Description: 5 (in kindergarten) through 21 Definition: The age range of special education students taught is 5 (in kindergarten) through 21 Code: AGE5KTO21

Use Case Background A change was made to EDFacts FS070 for SY 2022-23 to "align the collection of the personnel data to the child count data where age 5 (in kindergarten) is part of school age and age 5 (not in kindergarten) is part of early childhood."
(The next due date for this FS is February 2024)
