Use Case Description All schools under the auspices of the NC Department of Public Instruction are assigned a "school designation type" that coincides with funding as well as reporting. They are designated as either Charter, Federal, Laboratory, Public, Other, or Regional School. NCDPI is asking for this additional element, but not a particular pre-defined code set as schools are mostly likely not designated the same across states.
