The length of a K12 course is captured by North Carolina for scheduling and reporting purposes. The length of a course can span multiple sessions, or it can be given multiple times in a session. North Carolina is asking the CEDS community if there is need for a new element to capture the length of a course or if adding additional options to the “Session Type” (000254) would be sufficient. Below is the current option set used by North Carolina.

Course length option set: 12 Weeks 18 Weeks 36 Weeks 9 Weeks Eight Weeks Five Weeks Four Weeks Less 9 Weeks One Week Seven Weeks Six Weeks Three Weeks Two Weeks
