Use Case Description NCDPI has multiple fields used to capture K12 course and grade exclusions for reporting data. These exclusions are as follows:
• Exclude ADA • Exclude from class rank • Exclude from honor roll • Exclude from GPA • Exclude from transcript • Exclude from grade suppression • Exclude from graduation requirements • Exclude from state reporting
Use Case Background NCDPI has multiple fields used to capture K12 course and grade exclusions for reporting data. These exclusions are as follows:
• Exclude ADA – this is a “Yes”, “No” field to indicate if the course attendance data is to be excluded in the calculation of Average Daily Attendance (ADA). • Exclude from class rank – this is a “Yes”, “No” field to indicate if the course data is to be excluded in the calculation of a student’s class rank. • Exclude from honor roll – this is a “Yes”, “No” field to indicate if the course data is to be excluded in the calculation of if a student will be placed on the honor roll. • Exclude from GPA – this is a “Yes”, “No” field to indicate if the course data is to be excluded in the calculation of a student’s grade point average (GPA). • Exclude from transcript – this is a “Yes”, “No” field to indicate if the course data is to be excluded from a student’s transcript. • Exclude from grade suppression – this is a “Yes”, “No” field to indicate if the course data is to be excluded from grade suppression calculations. • Exclude from graduation requirements – this is a “Yes”, “No” field to indicate if the course data is to be excluded from a student’s graduation requirement. • Exclude from state reporting – this is a “Yes”, “No” field to indicate if the course data is to be excluded from state reporting.
