Use Case Description NEW ELEMENTS • Visa Issuance Date – The year, month and day a visa is issued to an immigrant or nonimmigrant.
• Visa Expiration Date – The year, month and day when a visa expires.
EXISTING CEDS ELEMENT Visa Type – Add the following options to the existing Visa Type element in CEDS. • E-3 Australian Professionals • EB-1 • Labor Certification under PERM regulations • O-1 Aliens of Extraordinary Ability • Temporary Professional Visa Status • TN Trade NAFTA Professionals • VWB visa waiver for business

Postsecondary staff may be issued visas in order to teach at an institution. These elements are necessary to capture this information.
