SimpleReport Demo/Training must have parity with Production Application
Current Experience:
The publicly available Demo/Training site for SimpleReport is not always kept in sync with the latest features and functionality of the Production application. This discrepancy creates confusion for both the Customer Support team and new users who may be trying out the application before deploying it within their facility.
Why We Want to Make This Change:
Maintaining parity between the Demo/Training site and the Production application is critical for several reasons:
- Improved Customer Support: When a user encounters an issue and contacts support, the support representative should be able to use the Demo/Training site to replicate the issue and provide accurate troubleshooting steps. Inconsistencies between the two sites hinder this process.
- Enhanced User Experience: New users who try the Demo/Training site should get an accurate representation of the actual functionality they will experience in Production. Discrepancies can lead to frustration and a negative first impression.
- Reduced Training Costs: Keeping the Demo/Training site up-to-date minimizes the need to create and maintain separate training materials for new features and functionalities.
User Story As a Customer Support Representative I want the Demo/Training application to be functionally identical to the Production application so that I can accurately troubleshoot user issues and provide clear instructions.
